Cross Channel Challenge
2nd October 2011

On 2nd October 2011, London 2012 Olympic hopeful and Huntswood employee, Paul Wycherley beat the world record for crossing the English Channel in a kayak in a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes whilst raising money for charity.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, we have almost hit our £100,000 target so there is still time to donate, if you have not done so already. All funds raised will be split evenly between Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Prince’s Charities.

Huntswood supported Paul in his challenge by underwriting the costs. This included supplying him with a specially designed sea kayak, a Pilot Support Boat and training kit, as well as managing the logistics of the event.

Please donate to support Paul in his quest to raise money for these deserving charities.
