Engagement Manager - South
A key client facing CSO role to manage the successful delivery of high profile client engagements.
Having worked closely with the transformation manager in the Start up and initiation phases the Engagement Manager will gain a detailed understanding of the engagement & take full responsibility, following a controlled handover, for all aspects of its’ delivery through to successful closure.
The Engagement Manager will also work closely with the transformation manager in the seamless transition and handover of previously non-managed services to fully scoped and planned managed engagements.
The quality of delivery will result in enhanced client relationships and increased opportunities for Huntswood, which the Engagement Manager will work with the account team to develop through to closed sales.
Accountabilities:

Day to day management of the engagement plan and its’ resources

Proactively managing and developing the client relationship
|
| • |
Identification and implementation of process improvements
|
| • |
Implementation and management of controls focused on the agreed deliverables & services levels
|
| • |
Maximising Huntswood’s profitability for the engagement
|
| • |
Active management of the scope of the engagement through adoption of formal change control procedures
|
| • |
Formal management of risks, issues including proactive internal and client escalation
|
| • |
Regular progress/financial reporting to key internal stakeholders (Account teams, CSO management team etc)
|
| • |
Owning and reporting the “time management through to invoicing” process for existing engagements
|
| • |
Contributing to and delivery of the Account Plan
|
| • |
Ensuring that the appropriate elements of Huntswood’s process are adhered to in the management of the engagements (project governance/methodology/S2D etc)
|
| • |
Ensuring that lessons learned are appropriately captured and communicated in a way that leads to changes being embedded in all CSO engagements
|
| • |
Seeking referrals to new stakeholders within the client organisation and developing relationships
|
| • |
Identifying and developing and closing the new opportunities with the Sales team
|
| • |
Developing client collateral from the engagement to enhance future business development.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

Experience of managing large and complex client facing engagements
|
| •
|
Focused on effective management and delivery of the contractual agreements, including experience of enforcement structured project governance & formal change management procedures
|
| •
|
Ability to operate and influence effectively at all levels of a client structure
|
| •
|
Ability to optimise the performance of an engagement team and the individuals within it.
