Business Development Consultant
The overall purpose of this role is to set qualified meetings with senior executives of prospective Huntswood clients against an agreed target listing as specified by the Account Director, Business Development Manager and Head of Sales.
Success in this role will revolve around the setting of a high volume of introductory sales meetings for various Huntswood staff to attend, which in turn will lead to various pieces of business being sold as a result.
Accountabilities:

Conduct basic research into named industry segments so as to be able to make an informed call to prospective clients. Identify and remain up-to-date on industry trends and potential business opportunities for Huntswood as and when appropriate

Research specific companies to provide a comprehensive study for the Account Director to use in preparing for an introductory meeting
|

Use various IT and Knowledge Management databases to generate information on specified accounts
|
| • |
Update and manage the Salesperson’s diary to minimise travel costs and ensure coverage of all scheduled meetings
|
| • |
Regular cleansing and updating of CRM data
|
| • |
Prepare summary status report of calls made and specific points of interest identified by potential client executives.
|
Knowledge/Skills Required:
| • |
Lead generation experience, preferably at Director level, is essential
|
| • |
Experience in a professional services market is an advantage
|
| • |
Used to working within a targeted environment.
