Can I be home-based?

No. When you're not on client site, you're expected to work from a Huntswood office. From time to time, with the agreement of your line manager, you may work from home, depending on the requirements of the business

How much travel is involved?

All management consultants must have a basic predisposition to be away from home during weekdays from time to time. How frequently entirely depends on client need. If you have a need to be in a particular place at a particular time on a regular day of the week (e.g. for reasons of study, sport, etc.), then being a management consultant may not be the best option for you. It is exceptionally rare to be away from home between Friday evening and Monday morning because of business need

Currently there is no requirement to work outside the UK

The focus of the engagement is to help our clients improve their relationships with their customers.

A new entrant normally will be engaged on an assignment approximately eight weeks after joining; this is dependent on volumes of project work. The initial period is devoted to induction and to Huntswood-specific development.

What is the recruitment process for Huntswood Consulting?

Your CV will be screened by an HR Manager and by a Principal or Managing Consultant.
First interview with a member of the Huntswood Consulting team to make an initial, technically focussed, assessment.
Second interview with an HR Manager and a senior member of the Consulting team to assess fit and motivation. This stage also involves making a presentation and/or completing a case study.

How long will the recruitment process take?

We aim to move from receipt of CV to making an offer in less than four weeks, depending on your availability for interview.
